The
SX90 is the same camera front end as the DigiBeta790, but with different
processing. It has an advanced
system of eliminating redundant information (compression) and gives such
excellent picture quality that it is difficult to tell from DigiBeta.
It is a lightweight but rugged and reliable field and documentary camera
It has good low-light capability and comprehensive menus that make it
exceptionally versatile
and able to produce excellent pictures in different conditions.
SX footage can intercut particularly well with film.
It is an ideal
wildlife video camera, used by 'Wildlife on One'.
