imon Normanton is a director/producer who also works as
a director-cameraman on remote or difficult or unpredictable projects,
'wildlife' or 'people', with his own digital cameras and sound equipment;  new Sony HD 900r Cine Alta,  Sony HD 730, Varicam
DigiBeta790, SX90 and  DVCAM450
equipment that is available for hire at modest rates

or to work as a sound-recordist/camera manager
on productions where Lighthouse cameras are used.

Simon Normanton's primary experience as a director ensures that
character development, story-line
and the essential components of sequence-building
are constantly in mind at all stages of filming.

For a director-cameraman,  an experienced film-maker, to join an expedition,
to be 24 hours a day with the fire-fighters,
to spend a long time following the elephant trackers in the jungle,
to migrate with the Bakhtiari,
to be weeks on a boat or island in the Indian Ocean,
or simply to be a fly on the wall and to get the very best out of people, or wildlife
then Simon Normanton will do you an excellent job at a modest rate.
